Charles Darwin Luis G. Aug/27/2010
Charles Darwin was an english naturalist who stablished that all species have evolved over time by common ancestors , and proposed the scientific theory of evolution that resulted from a process that he called natural selection. “Natural selection is a natural law by which genetically heritable traits become more or less common in a population over successive generations. This selection in interaction with the production of variation, the possible genetic fixation process and possibly, in several cases, with little epigenetic process determine the evolution of the species.” (wikipedia.com) . Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection was made unpopular in his times because he thought he was going against Religion, he was most affected by his wife who was a very religious person. Darwin’s theory was as killing good as Mr. Dougherty said. Darwin was loosing his fate in good and didn’t knew how people was going to react against his theory, he thought that it could be refused by people or that his theory could be accepted and make people not believe in god. Darwin began thinking at a very young age when he saw many fossils that were very alike with human´s.
